Last year I met Esther, Adam, Amos, Imogen, and Nana Elsie at Elsie’s incredibly stunning property in Trevett, a gorgeous neighborhood in beautiful Boothbay. You can read all about this property on last year’s blog post – definitely a good reminder of how special this place is for this family before looking at today’s photos!
I was so excited when Esther reached out again this year, and excited to photograph at their special home away from home again this year. Once again, we soaked up the many beautiful areas of the gardens, and the special mementos celebrating Esther’s father. I have so much fun with this family. Amos and Imogen are total goofballs – so silly and fun to work with, and so unbelievably photogenic. Esther and Adam are kind and patient, easy going, and so clearly love being here in Maine for the summer with their kiddos and Esther’s mom. And Nana Elsie is the type of lady I’d love to spend and afternoon with – even just to listen to her get the grandkids giggling with her silly energy, and watching her tend to the gardens at a home that means so very much to her. Photographing families at a special place is so meaningful, and I hope I can do this property and this wonderful family justice each time they are in front of my cameras. Here are this year’s favorites from a gorgeous night on the coast of Maine, with this family who is so beautiful in many, many ways.
