They say that March comes in like a lion and out like a lamb, but I’m pretty sure that in 2020, this phrase was meant for July, because this month came in like a freight train and didn’t slow down for a second until its very last week. After months of worrying about whether I would have a season this year, my worries fell by the wayside as July brought me 16 amazing sessions, keeping me both on the road, and behind the computer as I navigated shooting, editing, emailing, and all the fun of running a solo business. I won’t lie, it was a bit of a shock to the system to go from 0 to 100 literally overnight, so throughout the month I felt like I was totally “phoning it in” on my 366 project. But looking back now at what I was able to create, I am a little shocked at the beauty I was able to find in the middle of the chaos. This month’s photos bring scenic shots from my travels around the state, everyday moments from home, nights with my little buddy as my photo assistant, and even family adventures that we were able to take and enjoy in the midst of all the craziness. We missed some REALLY big things this month, like the Yarmouth Clam Festival, and the ever-so-anticipated Taylor Swift concert, but even despite these big losses and a lot of hard work, there were many memorable moments and takeaways from this totally different, yet totally crazy and fun July.
There are 31 days in July. These are our 31 days of July, 2020.
