I can think of no better way to wrap up this week (and my last post before my working vacation on MDI!), than this one today. This year was my third year with Alisa, Dick, and James, and each year they introduce me to the coolest spots around Boothbay, including Fort Island two years ago, and Ocean Point last summer. This year we hopped in their boat and headed to Stratton Island – a ten minute ride from their home and a favorite place of this crew for exploring and adventuring. Together we visited their most favorite parts of the island, including the mossy forest, green ferns, and the coastal spot with their favorite bench where they love to sit and watch the sun. We headed back to the house under an unbelievable sunset, with seals in the water around us, and stars in my eyes from our island adventure. I love how fun and loveable these three are, and I always love listening to little James talk about the world around him – always with such wonder and knowledge. This was such a memorable evening, and once again I have to give thanks to these three for taking me on an epic Boothbay adventure. Here are my many favorites of our incredible night.
