The Extended K Family {Reid State Park} | Georgetown Maine Family Photographer

It’s always fun to work with new families, and I especially love getting to introduce my new families to a piece of Maine that they may not have otherwise experienced without our photo session. This was the case with the extended “K” Family, who traveled to Boothbay from Kansas and Florida last month. This crew wanted a session with a sandy beach. Sandy beaches are not really a Boothbay thing, so I sent along a few other options, including my favorite midcoast gem, Reid State Park. Reid is the perfect mix of Maine beach, Maine woods, and rocky Maine coast, and parents/grandparents Nancy and Rick jumped on the chance to visit my top pick. I’m so glad they did because we had the most gorgeous evening with this crew! Nancy and Rick brought along with them their son Michael with his wife Meghan and son, 4-year-old Mason; and their daughter Whitney with her husband Sam. As the only kiddo in the group, Mason of course stole the show with his cute giggles and 4-year-old antics (seriously, this kiddo is soooo cute and fun!), and we had a wonderful time taking all of the different group photos around the park, and wrapping up the session on a hazy beach with lots of play, and big waves, too! I loved meeting this crew, and think they are so kind and and beautiful. It was an honor to capture a piece of their special Maine vacation together!
