The D Family {Fels Grove and Madeleine Point} | Yarmouth Maine Family Photographer

Since 2018, I’ve had the extreme pleasure of having the D Family – Katlyn, Andy, Henry, and Lily – in front of my cameras. I love, love, love my time with this crew, and always have an extra cup of caffeine before we hang out because Henry and Lily LOVE photo day too and their sillies are always turned up to high for our sessions (which I 110% fully support!). Silly kids make my heart happy because it means they trust me and know they can be themselves on picture day, and Henry and Lily have settled right into our annual sessions.

This year we headed to Fels Grove in Yarmouth – a hot spot this year for my fall sessions – on a gorgeous late September afternoon. After running around the field for a bit, Andy suggested heading to Madeleine Point. I’m always a bit hesitant at Madeleine because it can be so bright, but it was per-fect-ion on this evening with cotton candy skies and a perfect soft backdrop with the boats in the water. I’m so grateful for the suggestion because in the coming weeks after this session I found myself watching the light better and heading to Madeleine again a few times, so thank you Andy for encouraging the second stop! It was so fun to see these four again this year and I always love our playful sessions full of love and joy. Here are my favorites of this beautiful family. 💕
