Atticus {Yarmouth High School Class of 2024} | Georgetown Maine Senior Photographer

October and November have gifted me with some really amazing senior sessions this year, and today I’m so excited to share my many favorites of Atticus. Atticus is a senior at Yarmouth High School, and I have to start by giving him a huge shoutout for his amazing performance this weekend in the school musical Curtains, where he played the lead role of Aaron Fox. What a treat to see him on stage just a few weeks after taking his senior photos!

Atticus chose Reid State Park for his senior photos – the same spot where I photographed his brother Oliver two years ago. Reid is one of my most favorite places and somehow this was my first and only session there this year! Atticus is a bit of an old soul – a young man who is serious but funny, creative, and smart. Aside from starring in the school musicals in high school, he also published a novel (what?! Goals!!) in his junior year, and has been Class President all four years of high school. He wanted his photos to be easy going and a little old-fashioned, and showed up ready to rock different blazers, neck ties, and even a bow tie. He rounded out his outfits with polar bear socks – a tribute to his father who they lost a few years ago, and who had a special love for his family and polar bears. ❤️ Our evening at Reid started cloudy and then opened up to soft beautiful skies with rays of sun shining through the clouds as we made our way around the park. It was a perfect evening for this talented and all-around amazing senior who has so much good ahead of him. Here are my many favorites from our incredible time together.
