Who is ready for some squishy newborn goodness today?! I’m so excited to finally share Caroline’s newborn photos. Getting to this session was a bit of a marathon, with a good bout of sickness and other scheduling conflicts making us wait, but last week I finally got to meet her and see her lovely family. I have been so blessed and honored to capture newborn photos for all three kiddos – Luke, Grace, and now Caroline, and as many of you know, being able to capture families as they grow and expand is one of the greatest joys of my career.
Every once and awhile I’ll have a newborn session outside of my typical recommendation of the first three weeks, and little Caroline was six weeks when I met her last week. I kind of love working with “older” babies – they are a little more filled out (cue – baby rolls! ????), and everyone – baby included – is a little more settled. Mom Nicole is a friend of mine from grad school, and it is so special watching she and Max grow their family. They are currently building a house, and so we had our session at their rental home in Falmouth, where everyone – big sister and big brother included doted all over the newest member of the family – soaking up her sweet cheeks and super snuggly baby loves. It was so wonderful to see this crew and continue to capture their journey together, and I can’t wait to watch little Caroline grow and become her own little person in the years to come.
