Baby Riley | New England Family and Newborn Photographer

Ohhhh today’s newborn post is so special and so.stinking.cute!! I have been so excited to share this session with you all for many reasons. We’ll start waaaaaaaay back in 1999 when a girl named Katelyn ended up in my freshman college Spanish class. Fast forward 25 years, and not only is Katelyn still a dear friend, but her family has become like family to me. So when her sister Emilie announced her pregnancy last year, I was absolutely thrilled – and then I literally shrieked when Emilie reached out, asking if I’d come to Massachusetts to do their newborn photos. Sweet little Riley was born in late August, and I met her in early September. I know I’m a bit biased, but this little one stole my heart the second I laid eyes on her, and she was SO ready for photo day. I don’t usually get a lot of expressions out of newborns, but Riley was full of them, and all the cute little noises too. We took photos with Emilie and Tony, as well as Riley’s big sisters. Big sisters’ photos are not allowed online but I have to give them a shoutout for being so good with their baby sister, and such rockstars in front of the camera! I could not be more thrilled for Emilie and her beautiful family, as well as for the extended members of both families who get to welcome little Riley into their lives as well. And thank you to Emilie and Tony for welcoming me to their beautiful home to capture these special memories – it means the whole world to me. 💕
