Every year I photograph just a small handful of seniors, but as my daughter makes her way through high school (rising sophomore this summer! 🥹), I am both blessed and honored to be taking on more seniors especially those here in Yarmouth. Last week I kicked off the Class of 2026 at Crescent Beach State Park with Esme, and boy oh boy did she help kick off senior season right. I’ve gotten to know Esme and her family more over the past year, and during her junior year I had the pleasure of seeing Esme in her element as stage manager with the Yarmouth Playmakers. Esme has a very chill and very cool energy about her, and a beautiful ability to lead. As an upperclassman, she welcomed my freshman daughter with open arms to Playmakers, and when I volunteered at events, you didn’t have to pay attention for long to realize how much the whole cast and crew respected Esme as a leader. She heads into senior year as one of the Playmaker presidents, and hopes to go to school for pre-law. I have no doubt her confidence, kindness, and strong mind will lead her to great things in law and beyond.
Esme might have been the most natural senior I’ve even had in front of the camera, and I feel incredibly honored to capture her beauty, love for the beach, and the incredible person she is as she gets ready to head into her senior year. Thank you for such a fun evening, Esme, I am so excited for all that is coming your way! 💕
