Jack, Calvin, and Walter {Capturing Childhood} | Yarmouth Maine Family and Child Photographer

The last time I photographed the S Family, it was on their lobster boat in Casco Bay on one stunning summer evening a year and a half ago. This time the scenery was a bit different as I headed to their home and at-home hockey rink for a capturing childhood session with 8-year old Jack, 6-year old Calvin, and 3-year old Walter. These boys are at home on the water in the boat, and on the ice with a stick in their hand, and it was so fun capturing them in their element once again. Growing up with four brothers myself, I’m not ignorant to the way boys interact, and was sure to capture it all, from casually moving the puck, to checking each other into snowbanks, to shooting the puck straight into the net (and right towards my lens!), and to goofing around together. Off the ice, we had fun playing around the yard as the boys played on the swingset and lobster traps, and Walter and Jack had a good jump or two through the puddles in the driveway. It was everything I’d hope it would be with these three. Here are my favorites of our energetic time together.
