Every month when I write my recap of the previous month, I find myself talking about how quickly the month flew by. Oddly enough, this could not have been farther from the truth in March, which felt like it went on forever. Maybe it was hitting the one-year mark of the pandemic that made it feel huge, but along with the anniversary of life forever changing as we knew it, this March came with some pretty big highlights of its own. March 2021 brought a new look for the kiddo (glasses, again!), the exciting arrival of our new niece – which allowed us to leave the state for the first time in over a year to meet her in Connecticut! – VACCINES (ahhhhhhh!!), Molly’s first talent show performance, and of course all the joys of a rare early spring in Maine – warmer temps, sunshine, outdoor play and adventures, and fresh blooms. Although it felt like a long month, it was definitely a momentous one, and one we will certainly look back on as a month where hope for a return of some sort of normal felt within reach for the first time in a very long time.
There are 31 days in March. These are our 31 days of March 2021.
