Sooooo…turns out the reason I usually blog when I deliver a gallery is because it keeps my ducks in a row. And because I’m a bit behind, I accidentally skipped two very important families! So, we’re taking a little trip back to mid-August today with TWO posts – one this morning, and one later this evening, before we get back on track. My apologies to the A and the Q families for the oversight!
This morning we start with the A Family – Kristin, Matt, Chase, and Davis, who I have had the pleasure of getting to know over the past eight years. I’m always so honored that these four take an evening every year to travel to southern Maine from New Hampshire for our session, and I’ve loved watching Chase and Davis grow up – it’s hard to believe they were so tiny when we first met. This year we went to Wells Beach on a sunny August evening with pastel skies, gorgeous dunes, and blue water. At 14 and 10, the boys are definitely coming into their own, both so smart and involved in sports and school. They still have their silly sides though, and while it may take a little more nudging these days to get them to play for the camera, it’s totally still do-able, especially when enticed by a friendly racing competition. It’s always a pleasure to spend an evening with these four and I loved our sunny summer session this year.
