I know every photographer says this, but I truly have the best clients. I’ve always known it, but after a crazy year last year with Covid, and now in the middle of a season with incredibly unpredictable weather, this feeling is becoming more and more solidified. It feels like I am moving sessions all over the place this year with the weather, and this was the case with the extended “A/S” Family over the 4th of July weekend. This year the holiday weekend was cold, dark, and rainy, but on Sunday we found a short period of time in the afternoon where the sprinkles were light, and we lucked out because the light was, too. To pull together 13 people in a last minute “go-time” play is no easy task, and I am so grateful to these guys for their willingness to stay on top of the ever-changing skies and for being ready to rock with smiles and positive attitudes when it was time for our session. I met up with this beautiful extended family on Goose Rocks Beach on the 4th, where we had a playful and fun session full of love and laughter. I especially loved capturing grandparents Ron and Becky with their five grandchildren, and their connection to their kids and their families is obvious and special. Many thanks to this crew for making this rainy 4th a little brighter. Here are my favorites!
