The B Family {Crescent Beach State Park} | Cape Elizabeth Maine Family Photographer

Ten whole years ago, I first met the B Family, and for a decade now I have had the extreme honor of capturing this family as they grow. This year was my 11th time photographing this crew, and one of my favorites. Each year our sessions mostly focus on the five kids – Ella, Ollie, Grace, Sully, and Poppy, and while I’m always amazed by how quickly everyone is growing up, this year felt even more remarkable. With Ella just completing her first year of college, I noticed how much Grace and Ollie have connected with their younger siblings, and while Sully and Poppy still ran circles around all of us, their goofy energy felt a little more grown up this year – a sure sign that this group as a whole is really transitioning into a mix of middle childhood, the teen years, and even adulthood. We headed to Crescent Beach this year, and I very much expected the beach to be socked in with fog as I was seeing on the webcam all day long. Instead we arrived to soft skies with minimal fog, and beautiful light that so well complimented the outfits and fun personalities of this family. This crew means so much to me and to continue to take their photos for over a decade now is an honor that is impossible to put into words. Here’s to another year of photo memories on the coast of Maine. 💕
