Ok my friends, hold on to your hats, because today I not only give you THE two goofiest kids on Wells Beach, but also the most incredible foggy evening session I think I’ve ever had. Seeing Jill, Dwight, Shawn, and Quinn is always a highlight of my year, and in the five years we’ve worked together, we have had amazing luck with the weather. This year though, we scrambled as Jill texted me about thick fog rolling in to the beach, so we bumped up the time and decided to make the best of it. I am SO happy we did, because these foggy photos are some of my most favorite. To make it even better, the fog certainly did not dampen the spirits of the kids, who always are huge fans of playing on the beach, but this year were so totally ready to rock and roll and play in the sand, climb on the rocks, and literally roll around in the water. Perhaps my favorite part of working with this family though, is how much Jill and Dwight get into it with the kids – not hesitating at all to run around and get soaked themselves. It all comes together to create a collection of images that are full of love, laughter, and tender and goofy moments. Here are my many many favorites of this amazing family and our foggy night in Wells.
