It’s a BIG TEN session today! 🎉 Way back in 2016, I met Martha, Ryan, and toddler Nora for the first time. Since then, I have taken their photos each year, literally watching Nora grow through my lens. This year we celebrated a whole decade of photo memories together, and I have to take a moment to look back and smile at all the fun we’ve had. Nora has always been a heart-stealer, with her big eyes, curly hair, and super sweet and inquisitive personality. She has always been able to wear whatever she wants for her photo sessions (the tutu, Sox hat and sunglasses fit is a personal favorite), and has always been in charge of our time together. She picks where we walk, she decides when we’re done with a pose – our sessions have always been Nora’s sessions, and this is what makes them extra special. Over the years we have gone everywhere from local parks to their family home, local beaches to Peaks Island. Last year we went to the Audubon, and this year we headed to Fort Williams. At ten, I definitely noticed that this year especially, Nora is growing up. With a little ‘tude, a lot of laughs, one super-stylish outfit, and some definite determination, this awesome kiddo is coming into those tween years, and I am so excited to see how much she grows up in the next few years. I adore this kid and her parents, and our playful, low-pressure, and fun sessions that just capture Nora being Nora every year of her life have been so very special. I can’t wait to see where the next ten take us and our photo adventures. 💕
