The C Family {Eastern Promenade} | Portland Maine Family Photographer

It has been 10 years since I last had Erika, Adam, James, and Ingrid in front of my cameras and I was THRILLED when Erika reached out this fall to have me photograph her family once again. And while I obviously expected to see two kids who had grown up A LOT since I last saw them, my jaw was on the floor when I saw just how grown up James and Ingrid are all these years later. At 15, James is as handsome as they come, kind, funny, and playful. And at 11, Ingrid is adorably silly, beautiful, also kind and funny, and just the sweetest thing ever. And Erika and Adam are as lovely as they were ten years ago, so excited to be taking these special photos with their beautiful family. We headed to the East End, a place that I don’t often photograph, and I found myself wondering why not as we worked our way from Fort Allen Park, down the promenade trail, and then ending on Munjoy Hill, overlooking Casco Bay as the sunset gave us a beautiful cotton candy sky. Even with a teen and tween, these guys are not afraid to be silly, to play, to laugh, and to enjoy being together, and I think their love and joy comes through in these photos. I’m so so grateful that I got to photograph this crew once again and I am excited to share my many favorites of our fun and beautiful October evening.
