The C Family {Higgins Beach} | Scarborough Maine Family and Maternity Photographer

I first photographed the C Family in 2022 when Katie and Darren were expecting little Caroline. Darren is a friend of my husband’s from college, and I was so excited to finally meet him and Katie and help them welcome their first little one to the world. Since then, I had the pleasure of photographing Caroline’s newborn photos, and also an extended family session with Katie’s family. I was thrilled when Katie reached out earlier this year to let me know they were expecting once again, and last month we had their maternity and family session on the shores of Higgins. I think it’s safe to say it is Caroline’s world, and we are just living in it – and I am a-ok with that because she is SO CUTE. The little baby I met a few years ago is now a very bubbly and energetic toddler with two feet that work very well and love to run circles around literally everyone. The beach was totally her happy place and I had a blast capturing her love for the world around her, while also capturing Katie’s adorable 8-month pregnant belly and the excitement of all three of them as they got ready to welcome baby number two. And speaking of baby number two, I will have the extreme pleasure of meeting him this weekend, so stay tuned for all the cuteness that is still yet to come. 💕 I loved our super playful evening on Higgins and can’t wait to see all four of them in just a few days.
