I think I am still riding high after last week’s incredible May temperatures here in southern Maine, which all began last Wednesday, the same day I had my first beach session of the year. I don’t know if it has ever actually felt like summer for my first beach session of the season, but it certainly did on this evening, with temps still in the 80’s, people hanging out on the shores of Higgins Beach, and even an ocean that felt more like July than May. It was such a gift for myself, and for Emily, Scott, and little Arthur, who met up with me for some family and maternity photos. I’ve been working with this family since Arthur was a newborn, and was super excited when Emily shared that they are expecting again in June. At 34-weeks, Emily was simply glowing, in a beautiful maternity gown that was perfect for the beach. Arthur, now 2.5 was as adorable and busy as ever, and together we all soaked up the beauty of a perfect Maine beach evening and the excitement of their new arrival coming soon. I cannot wait to see them again in a few weeks for newborn photos and am happy to share my many favorites from our gorgeous Higgins session.
