The DP Family | Boothbay Harbor Maine Family Photographer

A few years ago, I was approached by Sarah of Steinberg Custom Designs to photograph a beautiful home and guest home in Boothbay Harbor. During this session, I met Connie, the homeowner, who was sweet, welcoming, and so fun to work alongside. When Connie’s daughter Nicole reached out a few months ago, wanting to gift her mom family photographs for Mother’s Day, I was so excited at the opportunity to be the one to take them. The whole family was in town over Memorial Day weekend, and on Sunday I headed north on a perfect Maine May evening for our session. Nicole wanted to split the session into two parts – photos of the different groupings within the whole crew for the Mother’s Day gift, and then photos of her own immediate family as well, in honor of little Emmanuel’s first birthday. We ended up with a perfect blend of both, in the gorgeous gardens of the property, and along the rocky shore across the street. Three-year-old John Henry kept us all on our toes and in stitches, and I think it is pretty obvious from these photos how much this crew loves to be together.
