The Extended Q Family | Old Orchard Beach Maine Family Photographer

For over 30 years, the Q family has been visiting Old Orchard Beach. Family heads Maureen and Philip love it so much, they purchased a condo on the beach a few years ago, and finally this summer all of the kids and the grandkids visited at the same time – making for the perfect opportunity for some family photos to commemorate the occasion. When I chatted with Katharine who had reached out about photos, she said they wanted to capture the love and joy of their whole family together in this special place, with playful photos highlighting everyone’s personalities. She wanted a candid session, which spoke directly to my heart and I could not wait to meet this crew. It took about two seconds for me to realize how much I like this family – with the adults all being so welcoming and excited for photos, and the kids being so cute and silly that I almost couldn’t stand it. We had some soft skies on the beach as we photographed everyone together – laughing, smiling, playing, and totally in their element together in their happy place. I loved meeting this whole family and am so grateful we were able to capture their special time together.
