The Extended R Family {Higgins Beach} | Scarborough Maine Family Photographer

Way back in 2017, I photographed the extended R Family for the first time. Fast forward eight years and this crew has grown from 14 to 18 awesome humans, with a whopping TEN kiddos, and lots of very special adults raising them all. I met these guys through my friend Kelly who lives here in Yarmouth, and whose daughter Ruby is one of my daughter’s classmates. Kelly’s family lives in Kansas, and each summer they all make the trek north to Maine for some summer fun. When I asked the kids what their favorite part of summer is, every single one of them said being together here in Maine, and this answer did not surprise me one bit because this group is so close, and it’s evident from the second you see them together how special this time is for all of them. This was my fourth time photographing this crew, and our third session at Higgins. Once again, we had a gorgeous Higgins evening, with soft skies and warm waters, perfect for lots of splashing after we took all of the group photos! My time with these guys never disappoints, and I always love their kind and fun energy, so full of love and the excitement of being together on the beach here in Maine.  💕
