The F and G Families {Peaks Island} | Maine Family and Lifestyle Photographer

A few weeks ago I had my annual session with the F and G Families – our FIFTH year in a row capturing their Maine vacation. I first met this crew back in 2020, where I had the pleasure of meeting Katie and Ben with Rock and Ginny, and Alli and Nick with Rosie and Mae. Over the past few years we’ve done a few sessions on Peaks, one in Brooklin, and one in Bar Harbor. This crew was back on Peaks this summer, and I was so excited to hang out with them once again at the place where it all began. Each year I get the pleasure of spending two full hours with these families, and together we adventure and capture some fun lifestyle images, as well as some more traditional family images too. This year we decided to head to the rocky side of Peaks, where we explored a few of my favorite spots, making rocky cairns and taking family photos. If you’ve been around here for awhile, you might remember this group as the “t-shirt” crew – every year wearing shirts with last year’s shirts, with a photo of the year before, etc… After this year’s t-shirt photo, the kids changed into the cuuuuuuuutest lobster bathing suits, and we splashed around at two different beaches on the way back to the center of town. I love that these families take the time every summer to travel together. I love that the parents AND the kids are the best of friends, and I absolutely love that they invite me to capture all of it year after year. I always have the best time hanging out with these eight amazing humans, and I absolutely loved this year’s Peaks Island adventure.
