I cannot believe I am sharing my final family of 2024 today!! What an incredible year this has been, and wrapping up my year with Shannon, AJ, Liam, and Lochlan was the best way to celebrate the end of my season. These four surprised me this year by wearing very fun and different Christmas sweaters and I was in stitches when I met up with them in the parking lot of the Audubon. What I love most about this family is their closeness, but also their ability to never take things too seriously. Every year I have the best time with this crew. There are always little things I take away from working with so many families, and this crew is such a wonderful reminder to not take life too seriously, and not take myself too seriously. Our sessions are always full of lots of energy and laughs, silly poses, and an appreciation for the moment these four are in, without all the pressure that we put on ourselves for perfect photos and moments. Shannon held down the fort for several months this year while AJ was deployed and I know our time together in their fun Christmas sweaters captured more than just photos – it was a celebration of teamwork, service, connection, and the joy of being together.

I’ll be sharing my favorite images of 2024 after Christmas, but for now, I’m so thrilled to share my favorites of this special family and their fun holiday session.
