The G Family | Windham Maine Family Photographer

This year I had the honor of having Kimberlyn, Nick, and Mae in front of my cameras not once, but twice! After meeting sweet Mae for her newborn photos in November, 2024 I was so excited to see her again for my mini sessions in June. Of course she grew so much in seven months, and then again in the five months between our mini session and our fall photos in early November. This baby is SO DARN CUTE! I almost can’t even handle the cuteness. And with her mom being a photographer (the amazing eye behind KTB Creative Group), she is also not camera shy, she is actually quite the camera ham. Kim chose the woods behind her office and stable for our photos – a perfect location post-peak foliage, with a wide open trail and lovely soft late fall color. After exploring the woods, we headed to the stable for some photos with her horse, Skip. It’s been a little while since I’ve been around horses, so while I was a little nervous, I was amazed by how at ease all three of them were around Skip, especially Mae who has definitely chosen him as her furry friend. Seeing her eyes light up every time she approached him was absolutely beautiful, and I know it warms Kim’s heart even more than it did mine. I have so loved getting to capture some of Mae’s first year of life, and Kim and Nick’s first year of parenthood. These three are such a blast to photograph, so easy and wonderful to work with, and such a sweet and special family. I am so happy to have had another session with them in 2025. 💕
