Since 2019, I have had the honor of photographing the extended H family five times. Over the years since our first session, this crew has seen a wedding and the birth of several babies, and I can’t accurately express how much it means to me that they continue to ask me to capture their growing family. Typically I head to Higgins Beach with this group – a place that is so special to all of them, but this year, after having to reschedule in November, we found ourselves with an early spring session and busy family schedules. They asked if I would be willing to come to the North Shore in Massachusetts for our session, and I was happy to make the trip. I was a little nervous, not knowing the North Shore spots very well, but a photographer friend suggested Lynch Park in Beverly, and it could not have been more perfect. This gem of a location features wide open spaces, but also has a absolutely lovely rose garden, with brick walls and structures, and blooming flowers. I expected it to be overrun with photographers, but we got lucky and had the place almost totally to ourselves.
It is always a treat to see this family. They are kind, welcoming, and so fun. The kids are all growing into themselves, and are cuter than ever. With only one baby in the group this year, and little kids that have almost all become big kids, our session was full of good snuggles, silly moments, and as always, lots and lots of love. To every person in this crew – thank you for being so sweet, so fun, so easy-going, and so very wonderful to hang out with for an evening. I love photographing your beautiful family, and always enjoy our time together. ❤️
