The L Family | Topsham Maine Family Photographer

Oh, this family. On Saturday evening I stepped out of my car, and was greeted with big smiles, happy energy, and lots of love, and I knew this would be a good one. I know Nikki as the super-friendly teller at my bank, and so when she asked if I would be interested in taking family photos as a gift to her grandparents, I was excited about the opportunity. It was quickly very obvious where Nikki gets her sweet and caring personality, as I got to know her sister Alex, mom Denise, and grandparents John and Karen (married over 60 years!). These five have a an incredibly close and loving connection, and there was so much love and happiness along the shores of the Androscoggin River in Topsham, that I knew this gift was one that would be treasured. I’d love to be a fly on the wall at the weekly family dinners with these guys, hearing more of John and Karen’s stories, and watching their daughter and granddaughters soak in every word. This family is so sweet and wonderful, and I am so grateful that they asked me to capture their special connection together. Here are my favorites from our warm evening along the river.
