The M Family | Birch Island Maine Family Photographer

If you’ve been around here for awhile, you know I LOVE when my clients take me on an adventure, and adventure I did a few weekends ago with Christina, Bill, Liam, and Rowan. When they asked if I would be willing to take a boat with them to their camp on Birch Island off the coast of Brunswick, I was happy dancing all over my office, because there’s nothing I love more than a boat adventure with my camera in hand. It’s been about a year and a half since I last saw this crew, and in that time, they acquired a beautiful camp and piece of property on Birch Island, with westward facing views of the bay and a rocky coastline that just screams midcoast Maine. After a quick boat ride over, we took some photos on the docks and then walked to their cabin where we took some photos on the deck (and I got to meet their super sweet brand new kitten!! I mean – KITTEN. BOAT. SUNSET. PHOTOS! What. A. Night. 🤩), before heading to the rocks for some fun along the water at sunset. The blue-hour ride back to the marina had my Maine heart so happy, and I left this session feeling incredibly fulfilled and grateful for this family and this evening. The love and connection of these four is always a hallmark of our sessions together, and to capture their bond at their new special place was just well, pretty darn special. I am so thrilled to share my favorites from this incredible evening – this is one that will stick with me for a long long time. Thanks for the adventure, M Family!
