The M Family {Fort Williams} | Cape Elizabeth Maine Family Photographer

It’s been several years since I’ve done a session at Fort Williams outside of the Children’s Garden, and I am so excited to share my session with the M Family there last month. I met Christina, John, Ellie, Owen, and Birdie for the first time on a suuuuper windy October afternoon that was full of bright golden light and beautiful fall colors. This blended family was all together for the weekend and Christina was really excited to capture the moment with photos at their favorite place close to home. Ellie and Owen both live in NYC and Birdie is a freshman at Cape Elizabeth High School. Christina calls Ellie and Owen her “bonus children” and as a child of a blended family myself, this term is so endearing and it was so obvious how close all five of these awesome humans are as a family. I loved soaking up their laughter and love (especially Birdie’s love of being photographed – SO FUN!), and had a blast exploring all of my favorite parts of Fort Williams with this crew.
