The R Family {Crescent Beach State Park} | Cape Elizabeth Maine Family Photographer

Last month, on a hazy evening at Crescent Beach State Park in Cape Elizabeth, I had my annual session with Rebecca, McIntyre, and Alexander. This was year number FIVE with these three, and I feel like I am saying this about allllll the kiddos this year but this year the boys grew up so, so much. At 13 and 11 respectively, Mac and Alex are totally into sports,  and music, and I think both grew 6 inches over the past year. Pictures are not always Mac and Alex’s thing, but this year I was so happy to be greeted with smiles from both of them, which carried through our session as they turned the beach into a playground for sports and rock throwing, while also taking time to chase each other and give their mom some portrait photos as well. I always enjoy seeing these three and loved seeing the boys show off their playful sides this year in between their more serious moments. By the end of our time, I was getting photo requests FROM them, so I take this year’s session as a big win. 🤩 I love capturing these three together, and the ocean always seems to be their happy place, so Crescent was a great pick for this year’s photos.
