The S Family | Scarborough Maine Family Photographer

It’s been a few weeks now since I met up with the extended “S” Family on Higgins Beach for their family session. I have to thank this crew for their patience during a very busy time of year, and promise the wait was so worth it, because I am beyond excited to share images from what may be one of my most favorite beach sessions ever.

This is not the first time I’ve worked with this family, but it is the first time I’ve had the chance to photograph them all together in such a candid and fun way. Four years ago, I photographed Courtney and Barry’s wedding, and three years ago, I helped Kristen and Rob introduce Jake to the world with his newborn photos. This time they all came together along with heads of the family, Gayl and Steve; Courtney and Kristen’s sister, Steph; and new members of the family, Allie and Lucy. After a day of torrential rain and thunderstorms, we were not sure if our session would happen, but the skies cleared just in time, making for one of the most gorgeous evenings I’ve ever seen on the beach. I am beyond excited to share today’s session, and can’t thank this family enough for always being so easy and fun to work with, no matter what the cause for celebration.
