Ok friends, if you’re looking to see a session where literally all the elements came together perfectly, then I’m here to tell you that today is your day. Because wowza is this a good one. I was supposed to meet up with Betsy, Judah, Graham, and Eve on a Tuesday evening a few weeks ago, but we were rained out by a surprise storm at the last minute. Everyone drove home totally bummed out and hopeful that the weather on Friday would be better. We were totally rewarded for our patience because Friday evening brought bright sun, soft clouds, and cotton candy skies as the sun dipped below the dunes at Footbridge. Usually I get a little worried when it’s a super bright day and I’m headed to Footbridge, but on this night, the summer glow was an absolute perfect match for Betsy’s STUNNING dress and the colors they chose for the family. I’ll probably do a big preachy post on social media at some point – but moms, if you are even hesitating a little, I am here to tell you to buy.the.dress. While it was so fun to capture all four of these guys together, my most favorite thing about these photos is seeing Betsy embrace the gown and let her inner goddess loose. What a blast it was to see these guys again this year, and capture their really special love and connection in one of their most favorite places. Here are my many favorites of this perfect evening.
