The 365 Project {2022}, February | Maine Family and Lifestyle Photographer

I love March first. Like, LOVE March first. It’s a dangerous thing to love March first so much as a Mainer – as March can be such a tease or simply just terrible as we all sit here waiting for spring, but every year on March first, I feel hope and know that the warmer days are finally on the way. February was extra cold this year, and if you know me at all, you know the cold is probably my least favorite thing in the world. I spent a lot of my month indoors, trying to stay warm, and searching for new, cool light in these darker months. We also had some pretty big moments this month too, including my husband’s birthday, my niece’s first birthday, a few quick trips to Boston, a girl’s weekend in snowy Vermont, and of course Valentine’s Day, full of love and all the yummy chocolates. I’m ok saying goodbye to chilly February and looking forward to a brighter and hopefully warmer March (and some client sessions too – finally!), but as always, I’m proud to have another month of my little life captured for my family to remember.
