The 366 Project {2024}, April | Maine Lifestyle Photographer

Happy May, everyone! Was April as weird for all of you as it was for me? No? Haha! What a month. We started with sun and spring, then got a foot of snow (which caused us to lose power for a day or two and for my favorite crabapple tree to collapse 😩), then had the the town talent show (so proud of Molly for getting in and singing her sweet little head off on that stage!), and a solar eclipse, and then, well it just seemed to take the rest of the month to recover from all of that. 😂 For the first time in a long time, I didn’t have any client sessions in April (I truly think there was just some weeeeird energy out there this month!), so I spent my time trying to get outside as much as I could, reading some really amazing books (and starting a bookstagram!), and soaking up the last few weeks of quiet time before busy season (finally) slowly starts to creep in in May. Oh, and there was that whole Tortured Poets Department release and my birthday in there too – it wasn’t ALL weird! I’m pretty ok saying adios to April, and am really looking forward to hopefully seeing more of the sun and starting to pick up my camera for work again in these coming weeks.
