The B Family – 10 Years! {Higgins Beach} | Scarborough Maine Family Photographer

I hope everyone had a nice holiday weekend! I am SO excited to kick off this week with a BIG TEN post! 🎉 This year was my TENTH year photographing the B Family, and with ten sessions under our belts, this crew has become so very near and dear to my heart. Waaay back in 2015, Kristen reached out asking if I would take photos at their home of their three kiddos – Ella, Ollie, and Grace, who were dressed for their holiday photos in adorable pea coats, (and a cute little Irish tweed hat on top of little Ollie’s curls). Over the next few years I had the honor of meeting Sully at our session in 2016, and Poppy in 2018. Most of our sessions have been primarily focused on the five kiddos, who year after year blow me away with their kindness, helpfulness, incredibly close bond, and big love for each other and both of their parents. We’ve done sessions in Yarmouth, Scarborough, Wells, South Portland, and Georgetown. We’ve had sun and clouds, and even some rain. And through it all, I have always been greeted with big smiles, open hearts, and a family that is such a joy to work with. As a child of five myself, I have a special place in my heart for this crew (and the biggest sister dynamic that Ella carries so well!), and am so grateful for ten years of capturing them together as they grow.

For our tenth session, we headed to our mutual favorite spot, Higgins Beach, where we had a perfect evening, with magical Higgins light, low tide, and waves perfect for jumping and playing – even by the big kids. 🤩 Thank you so much to this beautiful family for ten years of memories – especially punctuated as Ella headed off to college just a few weeks after our session. It is such a joy to capture this crew time and time again.
