The G Family {Barrett Park} | Boothbay Harbor Maine Family Photographer

Every year since 2017, I have looked forward to my annual session with the G Family – Jessica, Tim, Kallie, Abby, and grandma Sara. Our sessions are scheduled during the family’s annual trip to Maine to visit Sara, and each year our time together gets more fun and more adventurous. This year we headed to Boothbay, to my favorite spot in the area, Barrett Park. Barrett is quintessential Boothbay Harbor – teal waters, rocks, trees, boats – you can’t go wrong at this beautiful location. There was rain in the forecast for later in the evening, and as the clouds pushed in earlier than anticipated, the blues of the sky and the teals of the water became more and more vibrant, making for a session full with beautiful cool colors on a warm August evening.

If I’ve learned anything in all my years of photographing this crew, it’s that they are always down for a good laugh, and this year was no different. Although the girls are noticeably more grown up and mature these days, they are not quite yet immune to the goofy energy of dad, the skibidi, and a good ninja dance party. It’s always a blast with this group of incredible humans who I am so grateful found me all those years ago for our very first session.
