The D Family {Pineland Farms} | New Gloucester Maine Family Photographer

It has been a long time since I’ve photographed at Pineland Farms while the gardens are still in bloom, and when Katlyn suggested it for her session this year, I was excited to return. Every year I look forward to my time with Katlyn, Andy, Henry, and Lily, and the evening we had at Pineland a few weeks ago made me wonder why I don’t head there more often. We had a stunning September evening – warm and soft, with cotton candy skies, and a garden full of color. After exploring the garden area, we headed across the street where we soaked up the beauty of Pineland’s fields, gazebo, and bridges.

This family makes me laugh so much. Henry and Lily are total goofballs – especially Lily with the most epic “cheese” face this year! I love how playful and silly they are together, and Katlyn and Andy always join in the fun and soak up the beauty of their family and time together. As so often happens when I photograph families year after year, I noticed so much growth in the kids this time around – especially Henry who at age 6 has fully outgrown the toddler years and is a full-on big kid (and handsome as ever!). I love capturing this family as they grow and am so grateful they found me over five years ago when they were just starting their beautiful family.
