The F Family {Old Farm Christmas Place} | Cape Elizabeth Maine Family Photographer

I don’t know about you, but tree day is a pretty big day in my house, and taking my family to the Old Farm Christmas Place in Cape Elizabeth to pick out one of their gorgeous trees is one of my most favorite days of the year. So when Lauren asked if I would be willing to come with them to choose and cut their tree, and do it at my favorite tree farm, I was jumping with joy. This session has been a long time coming this year. We were originally going to do photos on their boat in June, but were rained out, and then had to reschedule for various other reasons a few times as well. But good things come to those who wait, and I think this tree farm session with this family was 100% meant to be this year. The Old Farm Christmas Place has rows and rows of gorgeous and full trees, making it the perfect place for family photos. The owner Jay, was kind enough to let us use the property after they opened for the season, and we started with some portraits in the lower field, before heading up the hill to pick THE tree. It’s been a few years since I’ve seen this crew, and I was in awe of how much the boys have grown, not surprised at all by how awesome they are (seriously, these kids are SO NICE), and also totally in love with their seriously cute 5-month old new puppy Teddy. Lauren and Brian are doing a wonderful job with their beautiful family, and I am excited to share my many favorites from our fun afternoon kicking off their Christmas season. ????
