Fall Woods Mini Sessions! {Maine Audubon and Royal River Park} | Falmouth and Yarmouth Maine Family Photographer

Well, I have to say my fall mini sessions gave both myself and my clients a run for our money this year. After the tide issue with the beach minis, I was hoping for an easy-peasy woods mini day. But in classic 2023 Maine weather fashion, the skies had different plans. ???? For the first time EVER, my entire weekend of minis was rained out, and I was reminded that even in year fifteen of my career, I’m still learning how to roll with the punches. I have to give the biggest shoutout ever to all six of my fall mini session families who were so patient and kind as we watched the weather, and who worked to reschedule all of the sessions so that everyone still got their photos. In the end, these sessions spanned from late October through early December, and took place both at the Audubon in Falmouth and Royal River Park in Yarmouth. Some days I had one family, some days I had two, but every single person showed up with a smile on their face, even when the foliage had dulled, and the setting wasn’t exactly as it was originally supposed to be. I truly am blessed with the best and most gracious clients out there, and I can’t thank them all for their kindness and patience during what was an overwhelming late October and all of November. I’m excited to share favorites from five of my six sessions, and all of these beautiful families, new and returning, who I was lucky enough to spend time with this fall. You guys are simply the best. ????
