The H-E Family {Old Port} | Portland Maine Family Photographer

It’s been quite a few years since I’ve had a family session in the Old Port, so when Briana reached out a few months ago asking for photos that screamed “Portland,” I jumped at the chance to suggest Old Port photos! Briana, Joe, and their wicked cute 4-year old little guy Ellis, visited the area from their home in Iowa last week. This was their first trip to New England, and I am so so happy we were able to get their session in while it was gorgeous and warm outside, before New England did it’s New England thing, and decided to rain for the past several days. We met up in the Old Port, where we explored all of my favorite places, and then headed to Mount Desert Island Ice Cream on Exchange St., where they got some treats and enjoyed them at the parlor and at up the hill at Post Office Park. It was a quintessential Portland evening, and the Old Port was the perfect place for this incredibly sweet and fun family. I’m so glad they asked me to capture a piece of their New England adventure and am so excited to share my many favorites of our city session.
