The HD Family {Ferry Beach State Park} | Saco Maine Family Photographer

Every November for the past five (five!!) years I have had the pleasure of spending an afternoon with the HD Family, starting when Abe was just a little baby. This beautiful family is now a family of four, with four-year-old Abe, and 2.5-year-old Luke, and the extreme cuteness of this crew is always just what I need as I’m approaching the end of a very busy summer and fall. In years past we have done their photos at their beautiful home in Saco, usually with a mix of some indoor and outdoor photos. This year Jenny and Ryan wanted to change it up, so we headed down the road to the entrance of Ferry Beach State Park. I don’t often do morning sessions, but the late fall morning light was absolutely perfect for this spot on this chilly November morning. The closed-off road allowed the boys to run, play, and dance in the middle of the street, and the beautiful pathways were golden colored as the sun hit the very end of the fall foliage. This family is always full of giggles and snuggles, and this year was so much fun as we explored a new place together.
