It’s not often that I am able to squeeze in a last-minute session in the summer, but thanks to some pretty great timing, I was lucky enough to be able to connect with Lauren and Brian and their two cutie boys Lawson and Wells while they were here on their Maine vacation earlier this month. These guys were visiting from Florida, and staying in Kennebunkport during the time of their session. Being from Florida, they didn’t want beach photos, and specifically wanted an Acadia feel for their photos. My heart dropped a bit for a hot second when Lauren made this request, knowing southern Maine doesn’t have many Acadia-esque places. And then I remembered my favorite midcoast gem, and suggested Reid State Park in Georgetown for their photos. Reid is quite a hike from Kennebunkport, but these guys didn’t hesitate, and were awesome enough to make the trip north to soak up the beauty of this magical spot. I am so happy this family was able to squeeze into my calendar this summer. They are SO nice, and sweet, full of lots of goofy and loving energy, and were so happy to be together on vacation. They loved Reid, and I loved capturing them there. We had soft clouds, and beautiful light, and I had a wonderful evening with this beautiful family here on the coast of Maine.
