The W and F Family {Higgins Beach} | Scarborough Maine Family Photographer

Oh I’m so excited to share this one today. For over a decade now I have been photographing the extended W and F Family, starting way back when Amy was pregnant with Annie, and Turner was just a toddler. It’s been a bit of a wait since I last saw this crew – with life and weather getting in the way of our annual November session, but I’ve always felt that the sessions we have to wait a long time for always end up having just a little more magic, and this was definitely the case with this one. I’ve never had a summer session with this crew, and I know Amy has wanted a beach session for a long time. After rescheduling in May due to rain, we crossed our fingers for early September and were treated with a perfect night at Higgins Beach. With this crew we always start with photos of the extended family – Amy’s immediate family, and her parents and sister, and then we transition into photos of Amy, Thad, Turner, and Annie for the second half. I was instantly taken by how much Annie and Turner have grown in almost two years, with Turner being taller than grandma Lori, and Annie not far behind. As always, this whole family is super close, super sweet, and just a blast to spend an evening with and have in front of my cameras. To have them continue to trust me to capture them year after year means the world, and I am so thrilled our Higgins Beach session and this amazing group of humans. Here are my favorites!
