I’m not going to lie, I’m kind of obsessed with this one. Working with Alisa, Dick, and James is always so fun for many many reasons, but the amount of thought and preparation Alisa puts into our sessions year after year make them so fun to photograph and edit. Her eye for location and color makes my job easy and together I think we make a pretty good team! This was year number FIVE (!) adventuring with this crew, and over the past five years they have taken me all over Boothbay – introducing me to so many special new places in the area. This year though just might take the cake (so far!) for favorite location. We went to Oak Point Farm – a gorgeous preserve full of fields and paths, ocean views, bridges, and a dock too. Mid-September was an awesome time to be introduced to this place, with the foliage starting to turn to fall amongst the fading green grass, and soft fall skies making for easy light. These guys fancied up this year and Alisa wore a gorgeous green velvet dress, while Dick and James looked dapper in their suit and sweater. As always, I was inspired by Alisa’s vision, and so grateful that all three of them continue to trust me to capture them together at their home away from home in Boothbay.
